This little girl now speaks better, she knows more English than she can, having fifteen years of study (well, yeah, not too hard working).

Language learning requires a lot of time and energy in adulthood. On the other hand, a newer language captures children without much effort. If you hear foreign words on a regular basis, and you start "learning" early, you can speak as many languages ​​as you can in your native language. Of course, many arrive in many different ways about what "early in life" means. According to some, the foundation has to be started as early as infancy, as being a bilingual mother-in-law of the family deserves a lot of attention, but it definitely does.
The multilingual brain
Dr. Kovács M. Bgnes, a psychologist at the Psychological Research Institute of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, has published an article on the learning abilities of bilingual children in one of the most important international scientific journals, Science.
- We examined twelve-month-old children, who are still speechless, and investigated how bilingual small bilinguals can be learned in the same amount of time as monolinguals, and whether or not a tongue disturbs the little one. During the examination, three consonant words were played out to the children in simple rules. In one system of rules the first two, in the other the first and the last member were the same. For example le-le-mo or le-mo-le. When one of the rules sounded, we flashed an interesting little picture on the right side of the screen, when we said another rule, we showed another picture, this time to the left of the screen. The little ones could learn the system over time because they automatically looked at the right part of the screen when they heard the expression. The eye movement was observed with special skill, and we found that bilinguals were always looking for good picture, that is, they were able to simplify the rule, ) we could learn a structured rule and only looked at the right direction when they heard it. In other words, bilinguals learn different language rules more easily than monolinguals. It is not possible to say exactly what brain processes take place in bilinguals' heads, but there are specific links between nerve cells. This is important and good, because when you learn a new language, the new information is much easier to connect to, so your child will learn more easily.
How much is enough?
Bilingual children have processes in their brains that are different from normal. What kind of linguistic environment makes it possible for development to begin this way?
"In families where there are two or more conversations in everyday life, it is self-evident that the small child is overcoming multilingual development," says the researcher. But in a monolingual family, this is not easy at all. The child should hear the foreign language (daily) in daily communication, situations, conversations, at least forty percent. All you need to do is be as good as Hungarian. It is also important to do this even during the critical period, which, according to some, ends in puberty at six to six years old, according to recent research. This way, you will be able to speak multiple languages ​​without accent, at native level.
So, if you decide to pursue early language teaching, it is a long-term commitment, because the knowledge you have learned will wear off very quickly. Many parents are reluctant that after a couple of months of language learning, the child still "does not speak". It is important that they do not have unrealistic expectations. The little ones, first of all, understand, and only then give birth. But it takes time. It is difficult for an infant to measure the effectiveness of a course. Ask what the goal is. If you want to prepare your little one for a new set of sounds, to accommodate the foreign language more efficiently, it is worth starting a couple of months. You won't be disturbed, that's for sure. It will not get lost sooner, it will not mix rules, words. However, in order to develop the language skills at the mother tongue level, together with the Hungarian, listening once a week and listening to the language cassettes is small, even when three months later the seedling begins to learn.
"Many people, when they hear that" language course is three months old, "call upon our people, says Klara Kissné Hõss, head of Helen Doron Early English in Hungary. - Language learning, for them, is synonymous with language books, translation practices, seeding, and hard-to-copy images of a chunky styrofoam with a delicate baby. But there is no need for that. The purpose of infant language learning is to get started. Of course, this does not work for a couple of months old babies, and they will attend classes with one of their parents. They sing, they dance, they say rhymes. Playful conditions in a good mood. No lesson, no rigor, no going. The baby hears English once a week at the classroom and talks twice a day as background music. Even if the parents do not know the language anyway, there is an English-speaking environment around the little one, where the language just catches on like the Hungarian mother tongue. Our method facilitates the work of "language learning" children by moving from the simpler to the more complex, in a fun way that helps a great deal of repetition, and sets true communication goals for the children.

In our workshops, the English language is used for movement, music, games and something indescribable. The little ones do not have a sense of accomplishment, nor do they learn the rules and the correct pronunciation - all of them, in the same way, perceive their inner, inscrutable part of knowledge. Our teachers do not have to devote extra energy to discipline the little ones. We play, exercise and sing games related to everyday life, so kids can easily make day-to-day running. The "side effect" of the occupations is that the tools we use develop balance, fine and heavy movement, and learning abilities.
Family tradition
Judit Szigeti's father - although his mother tongue is not English - has spoken English since he was born. Judith grew up in a truly bilingual environment. So he continues this tradition with his children.
